Don't Miss The Christmas Express!

The Christmas Express is THIS FRIDAY NIGHT (Nov. 30th) 6pm-9pm at Shepherd!

Santa will be in the library with a professional photographer (TSS Photography) from 6:30pm-8:30pm, prices start at $10 for a 5x7, all pictures printed on-site, available for pick-up within approximately half an hour.

A Hot Dog Meal will be served in the cafeteria, $3 includes a hot dog, can of soda or bottle of water, chips and a dessert. Additional items may be purchased a-la-carte. Popcorn and coffee will also be available!

Gingerbread Houses will be on display (several classrooms made them as a group) and everyone can vote for their favorite. We will also raffle off a four-foot long Gingerbread Train.

Additional FREE Activities include Karaoke Singing, Story Time (6-7pm: Mrs. Annas, 7-8pm: Mrs. Lineberry) & Musical Chairs.

New Shepherd Elementary Spirit Wear

Shepherd has new Spirit Wear! Order forms will be sent home with your child on Monday, November 19th, or you can click here to get it online (.doc). We are taking orders until November 30th and you will not have a chance to order Spirit Wear again until mid-late Spring '08.

Items available for order include t-shirts, long-sleeve t's, hoodies, zip-front hoodies, ball caps and winter hats (toboggans). Hats will not feature the full logo, they will be embroidered with "Shepherd Elementary".

Adult and children's sizes are available for all items. Order by November 30th and show some Shepherd Spirit! Also makes a great Christmas gift for your child!

The Christmas Express!

Today PTO sent home a flyer with information about The Christmas Express. Please watch for it in your child's backpack!

Everything takes place at Shepherd on Friday, November 30th, 6pm-9pm. Santa will be there with a professional photographer (from 6:30pm-8:30pm), we will have a hot dog meal, and there will be craft stations where kids and adults alike can make personalized crafts for themselves or as gifts.

We listed the crafts and prices in the brochure but since it's black & white, it doesn't do a lot of justice to the crafts. If you go by the school office, there is a display on the counter of the actual crafts that will be available. You can also click here to see full color photos of all of the crafts.
