PTO Announcements & Reminders

1) There will be no PTO Planning Meeting tonight. Please email us or call if you have anything that needs to be addressed.

2) Shepherd Spirit Wear order deadline has been extended to this Friday, December 7th. Click here for the order form, print & send it to the school with your payment in an envelope marked PTO - Shirt Order.

3) A few people asked how much the Shepherd jacket that we raffled off would cost to buy. This is the one that was hanging by the front doors at The Christmas Express, lined, water/windproof, embroidered front & back. They are $48 for Youth, $52 for Adults.

4) Butter Braids will arrive on Tuesday, December 11th. If you are available to help sort them, please meet us in the cafeteria at 12:45pm, we need as much help as we can get for this process to go smoothly, thanks in advance for considering volunteering your time that day.

5) Some of the cardboard that was to be cut into 5" x 5" pieces has not been turned in to the art teacher. If you brought home sheets of cardboard to cut, please be sure to turn that in as soon as possible (send it in with your child marked "Art Teacher - Mrs. Lipsitz" or put it by the PTO filing cabinet in the cafeteria. Thanks!

Classroom Winner: Frick/Moore's 5th Grade Class with 117 Votes (won a class pizza party on the last day of school before Christmas break).

Individual Entry Winners:
1st: Kirstin Tevepaugh & Family (won a gift basket including a plate and gift certificate for MegArt Pottery, 2 Candy-filled gingerbread design mugs & a Gingerbread Man cookie cutter).
2nd Prize: The Roby Family: (won 2 Gift Certificates for Free CiCi's Pizza Buffet.)

A Fun Night at Shepherd!

With a huge thank you to 22 teachers and more than 40 parent volunteers, The Christmas Express was a success! Everyone had fun with the crafts and activities and all of the Gingerbread Houses were amazing! Click here for more photos. All contest winners will be announced on Monday, December 3rd.
