Infant/Child CPR Classes

Do you and your spouse know what to do if your child starts choking or requires CPR? Does your babysitter or your teenager caring for younger children?


An infant/child CPR course is offered at Lake Norman Regional Medical Center (LNRMC) every month on a Monday evening or Saturday morning. Course material includes CPR for children ages’ birth to 8, management of a choking victim and home and car seat safety. Cost is $15 (ind). $20 per couple. Mondays: 6:30-9pm: Jan 21, Feb 18, Mar 17. Saturdays: 9-11:30am: Jan 12, Feb 9, Mar 15.


LNRMC also offers "Safe Sitter" classes for 11-14 year olds, covering choking & injury management, behavior management, basic childcare skills, etc. Cost is $40. Saturdays 9am-3:30pm: Jan 26, Feb 23, Mar 29.
