Thank you so much to the 26 parents, 20 teachers and 2 assistant teachers that volunteered. We couldn't have run this event without you! I also want to give a special shout-out to the 4th grade team, they were all there almost the entire night, thank you ladies for all of your time and help!
It was a lot of fun to see families enjoying the evening of crafts & food, browsing the amazing gingerbread houses (great job classes!) and voting for thier favorites. Several had a good visit with Santa. I heard a lot of noises..er...um...I mean...singing coming from the karaoke room including a duet from Mrs. Platt and Mrs. Overcash, you go girls! Santa even popped in and sang "Rudolph" with some of the kids! And a ton of kids kept Mrs. Rash hopping in the Musical Chairs room all evening. The best part of all of this is that the (approximately) $2000 raised from this evening of family fun will go straight back into Shepherd students!
We'd really like to hear your feedback, whether you volunteered or attended the event, whether you're a teacher or a parent. We did this survey last year, and although only a dozen or so filled it out we gained valuable feedback which allowed us to make great improvements to this year's event.
