Shepherd Battle of the Books Team Places 3rd in County!

Congratulations to our Battle of the Books Team, who placed 3rd among 17 schools in the Iredell-Statesville Elementary School competition on Tuesday. This is a tremendous accomplishment which also awarded the school library $250. Great job everyone!

Family Movie Night!

This Friday is Family Movie Night at Shepherd! We're showing a Disney movie on a BIG screen in the cafeteria (due to trademark restrictions I'm not supposed to advertise online which movie it is, if you don't know yet, you can email me)

Admission is FREE and we will be selling candy bars, popcorn, soda and raffle tickets for $1/ea.

Raffle Prizes include:

• Golden Retreiver Lil' kinz (their own little "snow buddy")

• Family Movie Night Gift Package (Popcorn, Free Rental Certificates, and more treats)

• Pogo Sticks (good old fashion fun!)

Prizes will be drawn at the end of the movie.

Doors Open: 6:30pm

Movie Begins: ~6:45pm

Over By: 8:30pm

So grab your pillows and blankets, come early enough to get some snacks & enter the raffle drawings, and have a fun Family Night!

Please Note: All students must be accompanied by an adult.
