The Volunteer Appreciation Breakfast is hosted by the school, not by the PTO (just in case you're curious and to give credit where it's due). I also know Laura R. and Vanderburg United Methodist Church contributed a lot to help organize this. Mrs. Foster had asked me to post the breakfast details here as this blog sends an automatic email to a lot of our school volunteers.

Shepherd Elementary School Volunteers: You are invited to attend the 2007-08 Volunteer Appreciation Breakfast. The purpose of this breakfast is to thank our many volunteers for their help in a variety of ways at Shepherd School this past school year.

7:45-9am

Mrs. Morning-Cain will address the volunteers and Mrs. Short's class will present a short program. We hope you can come!

1/2 Price Book Fair Coming Soon!

Scholastic's 1/2 Price Book Fair is coming to Shepherd at the end of May! This is a great opportunity to stock up on brand new releases as well as old classics...all at 50% off regular prices. Get your kids excited about summer reading!
