In Search of a Vice-President

I hope everyone had a great first day!

While our country is all wrapped up in politics this election year, we also have some political news here at Shepherd! Jackie, our former Vice-President of the PTO has resigned as she received an offer to teach at Pinelake Prep. She was a great addition to our team and she will be missed! I want to publicly honor her and thank her for all the time and energy she put into raising funds, running the school store, planning events and much more.

All this to say, we are now searching for a new Vice President for the PTO Board! This position is a two year term and the time commitment is roughly 2 meetings per month, plus additional time planning and organizing events and fundraisers. Elections will take place at our October 8th PTO meeting and nominations will be accepted up until Oct 1st.
