Family Movie Night This Friday at Shepherd!

Shepherd PTO is hosting another Family Movie Night!

This Friday night at the Shepherd cafeteria, we'll have the big screen up and the popcorn hot! We will also be serving pizza, soda, snow-cones & candy (for $1 each).

Oh, and don't forget to enter for your chance to win a Webkinz!

Doors open at 6:30pm, movie starts at 7.

Snow Make Up Days

Reminder of Rescheduled PTO Meeting

Just a quick reminder that our rescheduled PTO Meeting (from last week's snow day cancellation) is this Monday, March 9th, 6:30-8pm in the library. Coffee and snacks will be available from 6-6:30; we'll have samples from the McLaughlin's fundraiser flyer. We will be voting on what this year's PTO Fundraising money will be spent on. Snow Make Up Days Explained

I have had a few questions from parents about the Snow Make-Up Days procedure. Apparently the ISS Central Office had a few questions as well since Dr. Holliday, the Superintendant, has just posted some information on his blog. Click here to read what he has to say.

Spring Fundraiser & Box Tops

Our Spring fundraiser flyer was sent home today, please look for it in your child's backpack. We are selling McLaughlin's products, they are a local company and we're proud to be partnering with them for this fundraiser. There are details about the fundraiser on the March PTO Newsletter (which also should have been sent home with the fundraiser flyer). Fundraiser runs now through March 18th!
Please collect money with orders.
Orders will be delivered around April 8th (to be confirmed).

Vote for Your Preferred Make-Up Days

The ISS website has a survey page up where you can vote for your preferred days to use as snow make-up days for the last two days that were missed. Please click here to submit your vote. Also, as I'm sure you've heard, school will start on a two-hour delay tomorrow. For those that may be experiencing this procedure for the first time, the school buses still do their routes, they will pick up your child 2 hours later than the regularly scheduled time. School starts 2 hours late but ends at the regular time.
